I vant to suck your icing...

Not that the title sounds dirty or anything...

Anyway, I am a vampire fan. Twilight, True Blood, Dracula, Nosferatu, etc. I don't care if they eat animals or human flesh or drink blood...I just think they are awesome. 

So this is my shout out to all you sanguine lovers out there! Suck on, my friends, suck on!  

Dawn of the Cupcake, 28 Cupcakes Later, Resident Cupcake, etc etc

I admit, I am a die-hard zombie movie fanatic. There is something so terrifyingly funny about dead people chasing you down because they want to eat you! My favorite zombie movies have to be the 28 Days Later series - those zombies are pretty freaky. Dawn of the Dead and the rest of the series is pretty awesome as well. 

So, in honor of some of ym favorite movies, I present the Cupcake Zombies!

Speaking of Clarice, wouldn't Hannibal Lector be an awesome zombie? I better get credit for that idea if anyone ever uses it in a movie! Silence of the Dead, maybe?

Cupcake Gothic

OK, so I really hate this painting for some reason. By "this painting" I mean the original, American Gothic. It always freaks me out. I look at it and wonder "what the hell! why aren't they happy? And why are their faces so long?"

So I did a quick, five-minute sketch of a cupcake gothic. It looks much better. and yes, I know the pitchfork goes in the middle, but it looked weird when I sketched it out that way. 

And now I got a great idea for my envelope today! I also have to download the past two weeks worth of envelopes to my computer, so everyone can see the difference that really good pencils make in my artwork. My envelopes are ten times more impressive!

In Soviet Russia, cupcake eat you

By far the most terrifying movie when I was a child was Jaws...yet it doesn't seem so bad when it's a cupcake eating you! Then you get to play around in it's cupcake stomach, lined with cake and frosting!

This was a quick five minute sketch that I did a week or two ago. I had the Jaws theme stuck in my head (mainly because it's the only song, besides Kumbaya, that I can play on the piano and I started my day out by trying to play the piano).

Not my best work, but it still makes me giggle, just thinking about giant cupcakes swimming in the water, coming to eat you. In Soviet Russia, cupcake eat you.
